Two years ago, there was no app. No leaderboard. No badges. No platform.

Just a group of cricket fans on WhatsApp — arguing, laughing, predicting, and doing what cricket fans in India have done since forever. Talking cricket like their life depended on it.

That group of 50 people? That was SportsFanatics. And that's still what SportsFanatics is at its heart — a community of people who genuinely love the game.

But we've been building something. And with IPL 2026 just days away, it's time to show you what that something looks like.

It Always Starts With the Same Argument

"I told you Bumrah was going to be the difference."

"Anyone could see that chase was never going to happen."

"I called this result three days ago."

Every cricket fan has been in this conversation. You've been in this conversation. And the frustrating thing is — there was never any proof. No record. No score. No way to know who actually called it right and who just got lucky and got loud about it afterwards.

That's the gap we wanted to fill.

Not with fantasy teams. Not with money on the line. Just a clean, honest answer to one question — who here actually knows cricket?

Introducing PredictMasters — The Cricket Brain Leaderboard

Here's how it works.

Every IPL match comes with a set of prediction polls. Before the first ball is bowled, you make your calls. Who wins? Who's the top scorer? Who takes the first wicket? What happens in the powerplay?

You submit your predictions. The match plays out. And then the points roll in — or they don't.

Every correct prediction earns you points. Those points go onto the PredictMasters Leaderboard — a live, running record of who amongst all of us has the sharpest cricket brain this season.

No luck involved. No random spin of a wheel. Just your knowledge, your instincts, and your read of the game.

The leaderboard doesn't care if you're loud about cricket. It only cares if you're right.

How to Play

It's genuinely simple.

  1. Sign up at app.sportsfanatics.co.in — takes 30 seconds with Google login.
  2. Before each match, the prediction polls go live. You'll get a notification so you never miss the window.
  3. Answer the polls — pick your predictions for that match across multiple questions.
  4. Watch the match. This part you were going to do anyway.
  5. After the match, your score updates. See how many you got right, how many points you earned, and where you stand on the leaderboard.
  6. Repeat. Every match. All season.

The more matches you play, the more points you stack. The more points you stack, the higher you climb. And the higher you climb, the harder it is to pretend you don't know what you're doing.

New This Season — Badges

This IPL, we're adding something that makes your cricket knowledge permanent.

Badges.

Every milestone you hit on the platform earns you a badge. Predict correctly five matches in a row — badge. Hit a points milestone — badge. Climb into the top ten — badge. These aren't just cosmetic. They're a record. A proof of what you know about this game.

Think of it like a cricket CV. Every badge on your profile tells a story — this fan was here, they called it right, and they have the points to show for it.

Years from now, when someone looks at your SportsFanatics profile, they'll see exactly what kind of cricket fan you are. The badges don't lie.

This Is For the Fan Who Actually Watches

Fantasy cricket is great. But it rewards team building and transfers and who you picked before the auction. PredictMasters is different.

This is for the fan who watches every ball. Who notices when a bowler is struggling in the third over. Who sees the momentum shift before the commentators do. Who's been telling their friends for years that they see the game differently.

This is your chance to prove it. Not to us. To everyone on that leaderboard.

The Community That Makes It Real

The leaderboard is fun. The badges are satisfying. But the thing that makes SportsFanatics different from any other platform is the people on it.

This community has been arguing about cricket for two years. We've celebrated together, commiserated together, and absolutely roasted each other when someone got a prediction spectacularly wrong.

That energy — that's what PredictMasters runs on. You're not just predicting into a void. You're competing with real people who love this game as much as you do. People who will remind you about that one prediction you got wrong in Match 3. People who genuinely deserve a round of applause when they hit a streak.

That's what a community does. And that's what we're bringing into IPL 2026.

IPL 2026 Is Days Away

The first match is almost here.

The polls will go live before that first ball is bowled. The leaderboard will start filling up. The first badges will be earned. And by the end of Match 1, you'll already have a feel for who on this platform actually knows their cricket.

The question is whether you'll be on that leaderboard when it matters — or watching from the outside wondering how everyone else figured this out before you did.
